Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th day of
August , 1982. The following members were present: Actinq Mayor
Schneider Councilmembers Moen, Neils & Threinen The following members were
absent: Mayor avenpor
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82-444
RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
REMOVAL ,AND DESTRUCTION OF DISEASED TREES
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on August 16, 1982 the City Clerk
was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost for the
removal and destruction of diseased trees on certain lands within the City as
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has
been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 13th day of September, 1982 in
the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400
Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass
upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all
persons owning property affected by such improvement will be
given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such
assessment.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the
hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the
official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearinq, and
shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement.
The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the
owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon the
following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Moen,
and Threingn
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
