HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-439CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th day of A -Alit , 1982. The following members were present: Acting Mayor crhneider. Councilmembers Moen, Neils & Threinen, The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-439 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROSECT NO. 117 PILGRIM LANE WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Counnil on August 16, 1982 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: Pilgrim Lane from 26th Avenue to Nathan Lane by the installation of storm sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 13th day of � tember 1982 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by �oupcjlmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted In favor t ereof: Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Moen, i s and Threinen the Following voted against or abstained: ! none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
