HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-436CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the -16th day of August , 1982. The following members were presen: Acting Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Moen, Neils & Threinen. The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport �Co Ucilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-436 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR THE DELINQUENT SANITARY SEWER SERVICE CHARGES AND DELINQUENT WATER SERVICE CHARGES WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of Section 444.075 M.S.A.and Chapter VII, Section 715.07 and 720.21 of the City Code of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, determination has been made that certain charges for sanitary sewer and water service have not been paid as provided by law, and the total amount of such delinquent charges including incidental expenses incurred Is in the amount of $62,879.77 and of this cost the City will pay $0.00 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: b1. The cost of such Improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $62,879.77. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected! without regard to cash valuation as provided by law, and the Clerk shrill file a copy of such proposed assessment in the Clerk's office for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the comptetton of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Moen, . inen The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
