HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-435CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th day of _ Auaust , 1982. The following members were present:7cfing Mayor a5hneider. Councilmembers Moen, Neils & Threinen . The following members were sent: Mayor Davenport aCLi ilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its opt on: RESOLUTION NO. 82-435 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROSECT NO. 901 NORTH CENTRAL INTERCEPTOR SEWER AND COUNTY ROAD 9 WATERMAIN WHEREAS, contract has been let for the improvement of: The North Central Interceptor Sewer commencing from point 16 to 17 (from generally a northwesterly direction from approximately 1000 feet south of County Road 9 to County Road 9 at a point approxi- mately 2000 feet east of West Medicine Lake Boulevard and thence westerly along County Road 9 to West Medicine Lake Boulevard) as shown on the adopted Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, May 15, 1980; trunk watermain along County Road No. 9 from West Medicine Lake Road to I-494; and also lateral sewer line along West Medicine Lake Boulevard to serve the Heritage Estates Addition; by the installation of watermain, sanitary sewer. street restoration and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $427,054.25 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $133,608.89 so the total cost of the improvement will be $560,663.14, and of this cost the City will pay $484,420.89 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to he specially assessed is hereby declared to be $76,242.25. 2. The City Clerk, with the dssi.stance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land with the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for public Inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assess- ment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Moen, The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
