HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-418RESOLUTION NO. 82-418 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT 208 - 34TH AVENUE PROJECT 209 - DNR TRAILHEAD PROJECT 210 - WELL NO. 7 WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the Council as follows: 1. Project 208 - 34th Avenue Watermaln Resolution No. 82-161; April 5, 1982 2. Project No. 209 - DNR Trailhead Watermain Resolution No. 82-40; January 14, 1982 3. Project No. 210 - Well No. 7 Watermain Resolution No. 81-873; December 21, 1981 the City's consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for watermaln improvements; and WHEREAS, the consulting engineer has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall,prepare and cause to be inserted In the official paper and is The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such Improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 21,1982, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manaqer and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certi- fied check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by ogncilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the foTjwing voted n a7vor thereof: Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Moen, The o owing voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
