Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th day of
August , 1982. The following members were present: Acting Mayor
srhneider_ Councilmembers Moen, Neils & Threinen The following members were
absent: Mayor Davenport

adoption
RESOLUTION NO. 82-400
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
TEAKWOOD LANE IN FREUND'S 2ND ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate Teakwood Lane in Freund's 2nd
Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on August 16,
1982 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851, as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of August 16, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on August 16,1982 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of Teakwood Lane in Freund's
10 2nd Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that Teakwood Lane in Freund's
2nd Addition is not needed for a public street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH as follows:
1. That the following street be vacated as public roadway:
All that part of Teakwood Lane north of the north right-of-way of
34th Avenue North and all that part of Teakwood Lane south of the
south right-of-way of 34th Avenue North and lying within Freund's
2nd Addition.
2. That said vacation shall not affect the authority of any person,
corporation or municipality owning or controlling electric or telephone
poles and lines, gas and sewer lines, or water pipes, mains and hydrants
thereon and thereunder, to continue maintaining the same or to enter upon
such way or portion thereof vacated to repair, replace, remove or otherwise
attend thereto.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilwber Neils 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Moen,
Ny 1 c and Thi -pi npn

ftereupon the Resolution was declaW duly passed and adopted.
