HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-364CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, arepular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was s'held on the 19th day of July , 1982. The following members were present:Mavor Davenport, Moen, Neils Schneider & Threinen. The following members were absent: ngne CoMpcilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-3" RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROSECT NO. 101 CARLSON COMPANIES 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on duly 19, 1982 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: 1. 10th Avenue from Xenium Lane east 620 feet, more or less, by the installation of watermain laterals, storm sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 16th day of August, 1982 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, !Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.
