HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-361RESOLUTION NO. 82- 361 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO HE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 104 - 19th AVENUE WHEREAS, contract has been let for the improvement of: 1. 19th Avenue from Merrimac Lane to Highway 101 2. 19th Avenue from Highway 101 easterly 840 feet, more or less by the installation of watermain laterals and trunk facilities, storm sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurte- nances, and the contract price for such improvement is $116,773.67 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $32,456.57, so the total cost of the improvement will be $149,230.24, and of this cost the City will pay $55,212.09 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $94,018.15. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land with the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for public Inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assess- ment notify the Council thereof.
