adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82- 344
RESOLUTION ADOPTING POLICY RELATING
TO THE SELECTION OF CONSULTANTS
WHEREAS, the City periodically requires the services of consultant firms; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish a policy which will provide for an
orderly means of consultant selection by the City Council, ensure consultants
retained by the City have the expertise required to effectively meet the city's needs
for specific projects, and encourage competition between consultants so the city will
receive the most responsive, effective and economic services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has carefully reviewed and thoroughly discussed a proposed
policy dated June 6, 1982 and believes this policy will achieve the above stated
objectives;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, that it should and hereby does adopt a policy relating to the selection of
consultants as dated June 6, 1982; and
FURTHER, that the City Manager is authorized to initiate the implementation of said
policy.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
