Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a s ecial meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, .was held on the 12th day of July 1982,

Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82- 343
RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE POLICY ESTABLISHING A CODE OF ETHICS
FOR PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL, BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that high ethical standards among its members and
members of the various City boards and commissions are essential to the proper
conduct of municipal public affairs; and
WHEREAS, the elimination of possible conflicts of interest promote the faith and
confidence of Plymouth residents in their government; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of a policy relating to code of ethics for Plymouth City
Council, Board and Commission members would serve as a guideline for City Council,
Board and Commissi-h members in carrying out their public responsibility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, that it should and hereby does adopt a policy establishing a Code of
Ethics for the Plymouth City Council, Board and Commission members dated duly 12,
1982, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to implement the disclosure provisions
of said policy.
