HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-325GITY'UF PLYMOUTM Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its `s option: RESOLUTION NO, 82- 325 DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK WITH RESPECT TO THE FILING OF RESOLUTION NO. 82-324 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plymouth has authorized the vacation of streets in and adjacent to the Medicine Lake Regional Park; and WHEREAS, the City requires certain conditions be met before the vacation is to be effective, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH as follows: That the City Clerk is directed to not file the resolution vacating the streets in and adjacent to the Medicine Lake Regional Park until such time as the following conditions occur: 1. The Hennepin County Park Reserve District provide right-of-way for a 100 foot diameter cul-de-sac at the end of 36th Avenue. 2. The cul-de-sac on 36th Avenue shall be improved in accordance with City specifications by the Park Reserve District. 3. The Hennepin County Park Reserve District 'shall assume ownership of all existing sanitary sewers, lift stations and watermains within the Maywood Park Addition and on the vacated portion of 36th Avenue. _ 4. The Hennepin County Park Reserve District shall install a water meter and a sewage meter adjacent to the cul-de-sac on 36th Avenue.
