HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-287The Counci member Neils introduced the following; Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-287 A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE AGE AND INCOME GUIDELINES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL'S SENIOR CITIZENS SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DEFERMENT POLICY WHEREAS. at the May 24, 1982 meeting, the City Council directed that the City staff investigate the appropriateness of the age and income guidelines currently in use in the Senior Citizens Special Assessment Deferment Program; and WHEREAS, in a report from the City staff dated June 2, 1982, the City staff has recommended the continuance of the existing age and income guidelines to the Senior Citizens Deferred Assessment Policy; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does confirm the existing age and income guidelines of 65 years old and $12,600 annual salary for the City Senior Citizens Deferred Assessment Policy and further, that this review is in conformance with the policy review provisions established by the City Council and that the policy adoption date should be revised to June 7, 1982 to reflect that fact that the annual review has taken place. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by M, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport.
