Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the -- 7th day of June_ . 1982,

Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82-278
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A DISPOSITION AGREEMENT WITH THE
HENNEPIN COUNTY OFFICE OF PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT
FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING THE SENIOR CITIZEN HOUSING SITE
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth desires to acquire a senior citizen housing site
through the use of Federal Community Development Block Grant Funds; and
WHEREAS, as a condition of the use of such funds for the acquisition of property for
senior citizen housing purposes, certain site and neighborhood standards must be met;
and
WHEREAS, the disposition agreement provides a means whereby the City can acquire the
site using Community Development Block Grant funds in anticipation of site
satisfaction of the site and neighborhood standards;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City nf Plymouth
that it should and hereby does authorize the Mayor and City Manager to enter into a
disposition agreement with the Hennepin County Office of Planning and Development so
that acquisition of the senior citizen site may proceed in accordance with Federal
Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant
regulations.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, ti�"
