HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-248CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular __ meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day of May _ 19 82. The following members were rouorjImember �chneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-248 ORDERING PUBLIC SHARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT LOT 20, BLOCK 1, MISSION HILLS PARK SECOND ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, the City has received a petition for a vacation of the following utility and drainage easement: That part of the utility and drainage easement as shown on Lot 20, Block 1, MISSION HILLS PARK SECOND ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota d._:cribed as follows: Commencing at the most easterly corner of said Lot 20; thence on an assumed bearing of South 63 degrees 50 minutes West along the south- easterly line of said Lot 20 a distance of 20.00 feet; thence North 52 degrees 41 minutes 11 seconds West along a line which intersects the westerly line of said Lot 20 at a distance of 65.00 feet southerly of the most northerly corner of said Lot 20, said line hereinafter referred to as Line A, a distance of 20.00 feet to the pint of beginning; thence North 28 degrees 11 minutes 11 seconds West 70.00 feet; thence North 70 degrees 11 minutes 11 seconds West 47.76 feet to the intersection with the east line of the west 10.00 feet of said Lot 20; thence southerly along said east line to the intersection with said Line A; thence southerly along said Line A to the point of beginning. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed sold petition and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that it should, and hereby does, establish the date of Jtme 7, 1982 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 14UO Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing on said p--tition and directs the adminis- trative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor ereo : Mayor Davenport_ Councilmembers Moen. Nem, Schneider and Thr inen The following voted against or abstained: nope Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
