HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-218rniiprilmmhar Moan Introduced the following Resolution and moved adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-218 AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE QUIT CLAIM DEED CONVEYING PROPERTY TO THE HENNEPIN COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION Its WHEREAS, THE City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, has received from the right-of-way agent of the County of Hennepin a request to convey 27 feet; of right-of-way In Government Lot 4, Section 28, Township 118, Range 22, to the Hennepin County Department of Transportation for inclusion in a plat of County Road No. 6; and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City that this property should be Included in the plat of Hennepin County State Aid Highway No. 6 and conforms to the City's adopted Thoroughfare Guide Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Mayor and City City Manager are hereby authorized to execute the quit claim deed conveying the following desersibed property to the Hennepin County Department of Transportation for Inclusion in the plat of Hennepin County State Aid Highway No. 6: An easement for highway purposes described as an easement, 27 feet in width, for road purposes across a part of Governement Lot 4, Section 28, Township 118, Range 22; said easement extends from the easterly line of Vicksburg Lane to the westerly line of Shenandoah Lane; and the southerly line of said easement is a line which is parallel with and 60.00 feet southerly from the line designated "survey line" on the plat of HENNEPIN COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY NO. 6, PLAT 5. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmembgr Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport,,Counci_lmembers J1oen, Neils, C%rhigp7dpr and, Threinen The following voted against or abstined: none _ Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
