Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a cial meeting of the City Council
of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held o 26th day of April10 ,
19 82 . The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers
-Ke-on, Schneider and Threinen
The following members were absent: ounce mem er Hoyt -Neils
Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82 - 205
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SUBMITAL OF A
LAWCON/L.C.M.R. PARK AND OUTDOOR RECREATION
GRANT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1983
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has an approved Comprehensive Park System Plan,
adopted February 22, 1982, and
WHEREAS, said plan identifies West Medicine Lake City Park for future expansion,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth wishes to apply for the fiscal year 1983 Lawxon/
L.C.M.R. matching grant program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the City Manager be authorized to prepare and submit a Lawcon/
L.C.M.R. grant application for the acquisition of 42.39 acres of land for inclusion
into West Medicine Lake City Park, and further that the Mayor be authorized to
sign said application.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the fo lowing
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Schneider and
Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: none
