HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-203CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 26th . day of April , 19 82 . The following members • were preser:t:Mayor Davenport. Councilmembers Moen. Schneider and Threinen The followi°,ig members were absent: Councilmember Hoyt Neils Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-203 AWARDING BID FOR TOWING AND IMPOUNDING OF VEHICLES TO PLYMOUTH VILLAGE AUTOMOTIVE, INCORPORATED WHEREAS, the City submitted proposals for the towing and impounding of vehicles, and WHEREAS, bids were received on April 21, 1982 and were publicly opened and tabulated according to law, and WHEREAS, it appears that Plymouth Village Automotive, Incorporated is deemed to be the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF . PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the Plymouth Village Automotive, Incorporated in the name of the City of Plymouth for the towing and impounding of vehicles, according to the specifications on file in the office of the City Clerk; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the o low ng voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport Councilmembers Moen_ Schneider and Threinen The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and a opted. j
