HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-199CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the filth day of A ril 1982. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers moen, and Threinen The o owing members were sent: ounce mem er Hoyt Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82 -199 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JOINT :AND COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT FOR USE OF FIRE PERSONNEL AND FOIIIPME_NT - NORTH SUBURRAN REGIONAL MUTUAL AID ASSOCIATION WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is a member of the North Suburban Reqional Mutual Aid Association with the Plymouth Fire Chief actino as the Citv's representative: and WHEREAS, a mutual need exists between members of the North Suburban Renional Mutual Aid Association to share and assist one another in the areas of fire suppression, prevention, traininq, public education, arson investigation, disaster control and mitigation; and WHEREAS, revisions have been made to the existinq Joint powers agreement to bring It up to date and improve the document: NOW fHEREFORF, BE IT HEREBY RFSOLVFD, that the City of Plymouth enter into the revised agreement with the North Suburban Reqional Mutual .Aid Association and herefav authorizes Its Mavor and City Manager to siqn such an agreement. The wotion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Moen , and upon vote belno taken thereon, the of lowing voted in fawn thereof: _Magor Daventiart. Counrilmembers Moen Schneider and Threinen The fol owing voted against or abstained: NQGP Whereupon ttu, Resolution was declared duty passed and adopted.
