HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-196CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 19th day of April , 19 82. The following members were present: Ma or Davenport, Councilmembers Moen Schneider and Threinen The following members were absent: Councilmember Hoyt Mayor Davenport introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82- 196 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 10 AND FINAL COMMUNITY PLAYFIELD IMPROVEMENTS PHASE I, SCHEDULE 03 PROJECT NO. 017 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Hoffman Electric Company as contractor have entered into an agreement for the Community Playfield Improvements, Phase I, Schedule D3, said agreement being dated June 16, 1980; and WHEREAS, the engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. That the original contract amount was $299,434.00, four change orders in the amount of $1,912 (deduct) were approved, and the value of the work to date is 5297,522.00. 2. That the work performed by the contractor for Project No. 017, Phase I, Schedule D3 and certified to the Council by the engineer as accept- able be and the same is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and corrections of faulty work after final pavment. 3. Request for Payment No. 10 and Final in the amount of $582.00 to Hoffman Electric Compa:,y for Project 027, Phase I, Schedule D3 is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. The motion for the adoption of ne foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by 10Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the 0 owing vote fn favor tnereo : Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, SchngideC and Threinen The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
