HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-180CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetinq of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 19th day of April . 1982. The following members were present: MaYnr Davenport. Councilmembers Moen, Schneider The oow ng members were absent: Cn1ingi1mPmhPr Hoyt Cni,nrilmPmhPr Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-180 DENYING THE REQUEST OF 3 & S TEXTILES ASSOCIATES FOR CONDITONAL USE PERMIT (82011) WHEREAS, 3 & S Textiles Associates has requested a Conditional Use Permit to conduct periodic retail sales from their warPtinuse facility at 2800 Niaqara Lane located in the I-1 (planned industrial) District; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends denial; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, .MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does deny the request of 0 & S Textiles, Associates to conduct warehouse retail sales from their facility located in the I-1 (planned industrial) Zoning District at 2800 Niagara Lane for the followino reason: 1. This application does not meet the criteria set forth for retail and service uses in the I-1 (planned industrial) Zonino District. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Schneider and Threinen The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
