Councilmember Schneider introduced the followinq resolution and moved its
adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-169
APPROVING RECLASSIFICATION OF LAND USE GUIDING FOR C14ARLTON ODNSOLIDATFD COMPANTrq,
INCORPORATED FOR S. J. GROVES i SON COMPANY FOR PROPERTY LOCA'Pwn IN THF. NORTRWRST
QUADRANT OF MINNESOTA STATE HIGHWAY 55 AND COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY 1A (P2002)
WHEREAS, Charlton Consolidated Companies, Incorporated has requested approval of
a Land Use Guide Plan Amendment for S. J. Groves & Sons Company, to reclassify
approximately 42 acres of land, from IP (planned industrial) District, to CL (limited
business) District, located in the northwest quadrant of Minnesota State Highway 55 and
County State Aid Highway 18; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the request foliowinq a duly scheduled
Public Hearing and has recommended approvalt
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOT"R,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request of Charlton Consolidated
Companies for a Land Use Guide Plan Amendment for S. J. Groves i Sons Company for
reclassification of approximately 42 aces of land from IP (planned industrial to CL
(limited business) located in the northwest quadrant of Minnesota Etate Hiqhway 55 and
County State Aid Highway 18, more specifically described as follows:
The North 1/2 of Lots 15 and 16, Plymouth Gardens, Hennepin County, MN
(Torrens)
The South 1/2 of Lots 15 and 16, Plymouth Gardens, Hennepin County, MN
(Torrens)
Lot 17 and the North 1/2 of Lot 18, including a vacated portion of Lancaster Lane,
Plymouth Gardens, Hennepin County, MN (Torrens)
The South 1/2 of Lot 18, including a vacated portion of Lancaster Lane,
Plymouth Gardens, Hennepin County, Mn (Torrens)
Lot 19, including a vacated portion of Lancaster Lane, Plymouth Gardens,
Hennepin County, MN (Torrens)
Lot 20, Plymouth Gardens, Hennepin County, Mn (Abstract)

118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying northerly of the center line
Of County Road No. 6 (6th Avenue North); EXCEPT for the North 10 rods thereof
and the east 724 feet thereof;
and
The North ten rods of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 36,
Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, MN
and
The East 724 feet of that part of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4
of Section 36, Township 118, Range 22, lying North of the center line of

Titles, County of Hennepin, which lies easterly of a line 871.00 feet
easterly of, measured at a right angle to and parallel with the west line

That part of the Southwest Quare:er of the Northeast quarter of Section 3F,
Township 118, Range 22, which lAes southerly of a line 691.50 feet southerly
of, measured at a right angle to and parallel with the north line of said
Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter and lying easterly of a line 5n6.41
feet westerly of, measured at a right angle to and parallel with the east line
of said Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter except the Fast 17 feet
