HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-160CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was heT�on the 5th day of April 19_. The following members were Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82- 160 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT LOT 6, BLOCK 3, SEVEN PONDS EAST ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a portion of the utility and drainage easement Lot 6, Block 3, Seven Ponds East Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on April 15, 1982 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851, as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of April 5, 1982; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on April 5, 1982 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of a portion of utility and drainage easement Lot 6, Block 3, Seven Ponds East Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easement is not needed for public purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. That the following drainage and utility easement be vacated: The East 3.00 feet of the West 20.00 feet of Lot 6, Block 3, Seven Ponds East except the South 6.00 feet and the North 10.00 feet thereof; according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, said 20.00 feet is described as a permanent easement for utility purposes per Document No. 1276165. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Couocilmemr Mo n , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mavor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Moen and Schneider The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. #,tr *,r,t ,►tnr
