The followi memberswere present;cam Mayor Schneider, ounc members R yt, Moen and 1hreinen The following members were absent: Mayor avenpor Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-143 A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 77-551 DEALING WITH A POLICY ON THE ALLOCATION OF PARK DEDICATION FEES WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has an approved policy on the use of park dedication fees adopted September 26, 1977 by Resolution No. 77-551, and WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission and City Council have reviewed this policy, and WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission and City Council believe this policy should be amended to consolidate three existing accounts into two accounts, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that Resolution No. 77-551 be amended to read: 1. The Manager shall establish accurate financial records for transactions with the following two categories of the "Park Dedication Fund": a. City Parks, Community Playfields and Trails b. Neighborhood Parks 2. Appropriations from the "Park Dedication Fund" shall be for the acquisition and development of parks, and over a five- year period shall be distributed as follows: a. City Parks, Community Playfields and Trails - 60% b. Neighborhood Parks - 40% AND FURTHER, that the City Manager shall be authorized to combine the existing Central Park Account with the existing Community Parks, Community Playfields and Trails Account into one City Parks, Community Playfields and Trails Account. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers do Hot Moen and Threinen- F h1 a following voted against or abstained: none "�— Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. alkittt. i **
