HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-134CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a ��re u_lar meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 1st day of March , 19 82 The following members were present: a�Fi yor ravenport, Councilmembers Hot Moen Schneider and Threinen following members were sent: none A## AA# ##A �ouqcijmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: T RESOLUTION NO. 134 RESOLUTION REDUCING CERTAIN REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE APPROPRIATIONS IN THE ADOPTED 1982 GENERAL FUND AND SHADE TREE DISEASE CONTROL FAUDGETS WHEREAS, on January 14, 1982, House File No. 2 of the Third Special Session of the State Legislation became law; and WHEREAS, House File No. 2 reduces revenues originally anticipated for receipt by the city in the 1982 General Fund and Shade Tree Disease Control budgets as adopted by Resolution 81-533; and WHEREAS, since the law prohibits the recertification of the City's 1992 levy and therefore requires decreases in City expenditure forecasts corresponding with the anticipated revenue reductions of $90,122 in the General Fund budget and $20,000 in the Shade Tree Disease Control hudoet: and WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended program reductions in the General Fund budget and Shade Tree Disease Control budget to balance anticipated revenues with expenditures; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the following revenue and expenditure reductions to the adopted 1992 Shade Tree and General Fund Budgets as shown below: Revenues S5,223,3R2 Reduce: 401 Current Ad Valores, Homestead Cr. -13,950 477 State Shared Rev.
