The following members were present:Ma or Davenport, Councilmem ers Hoyt, Schneider and Threinen The following members were absent: none Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-125 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID PROJECT NO. 920/010/014 TURTLE LAKE AREA IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS,pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the following improvements: Turtle Lake Area Utility and Street Improvements AND, WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractors Total Bid Northdale Construction $595,523.70 Mueller Pipeliners 639,261.60 Barbarossa & Sons 649,722.00 Orfei & Sons 657,277.34 Erwin Montgomery 664,432.40 Winona Plbg. & Htg. 665,562.49 Contractors Total Bid Nodland Associates $668,592.70 Dawson Construction 674,113.00 Progressive Contractors 678,573.50 Julian M. Johnson Const. 691,262.55 C. S. McCrossan 795,571.35 North Central Underground 802,928.30 AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Northdale Construction Co. is the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Northdale Construction Co. of Osseo, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for the construction of Projects 920, 010 and 014 in the amount of $595,523.70. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by CoUn i member Threinen 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmember Hoyt, Moen, neioer and Threinen T e following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
