Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rhe ular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t—ie— 1st day of March
19 82 . The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers _
Hove gn. Schneider and Threinen
The following members were absent: none
_Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82-116
REVISING RESOLUTION NO. 82-53
AND APPROVING AMENDED ADDRESS/STREET NAME CHANGES
WHEREAS, the City Council has established a street naming/numbering system for ;
the City; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City to follow the system insofar as practicable
when considering new plats and developments; and
WHEREAS, the City's Chief Building Official has recommended and the City Council
previously approved certain changes in the names of City streets not conforming
to the street naming policy; and
WHEREAS, since the original approval of the street name changes, additional infor-
mation has come to light regarding the proposed street name changes in the Fern-
dale North area; and
WHEREAS, the list of street name changes approved by the City Council in
Resolution No. 81-308 has been amended to delete streets in the Ferndale North
area; Resolution No. 82-53 has been amended to delete street name changes, 26th
and 28th Avenue North to Merrimac Lane and Evergreen Lane to 11th Avenue North,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth
that the following street names be changed as indicated and further that the Chief
Building Official notify in writing all persons affected by these changes includ-
ing Hennepin County, United States Postal Service and Public Utilities.
