Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council
of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on a 22nd day of February ,
19 82 . The following members were present: Mayor Davenport_ COi,nri1mombPr-&.-_`
Moen, Schneider and Threinen
The following members were absent: Councilmemb r Hoyt
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
Resolution No. 82-112
Establishing a Reserve for City Center Maintenance and Establishing a Reserve for Accrued
Vacation and Long Term Disability Leave
WHEREAS, it is sound financial planning to adequately fund all contingent liabilities,
and
WHEREAS, the general fund balance is sufficient to finance the requested reserves, and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Finance that reserves totaling
$665,473 be established, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to establish a Reserve for City Center
Maintenance in the amount of $25,000 and a Reserve for Accrued Vacation and Long
Term Disability Leave in the amount of $640,473;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
that a Reserve to be known as Reserve for City Center Maintenance and a. Reserve for
Accrued Vacation and Long Term Disability Leave be established.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconced by
Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the fo lowing
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Council -members Moe Srhnaider anti
Threinen
The ollowing voted against or abstained: none
