The following members were absent: none •* * *'t 7R •'k 4 Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-96 AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE TRUCK MOUNTED SEWER JET AND TRAILER MOUNTED MANHOLE VACUUM UNIT WHEREAS, $110,000 has been budgeted for the purchase of one truck mounted sewer jet and trailer mounted manhole vacuum unit in the 1982 budget; and WHEREAS, such equipment is required to adequately maintain the City's sanitary and storm sewer systems; and WHEREAS, in accordance with State Statute bid specifications were prepared and distributed and bid proposals received and opened on February 16, 1982; and WHEREAS, the following bids were received: BIDDER AMOUNT DELIVERY DATE 10 MacQueen Equipment, Inc. $51,400.00 Immediate Sanitation Products 83,620.00 120 days WHEREAS, the bid of MacQueen Equipment, Inc. is in conformance with City speci- fications for this equipment and MacQueen Equipment, Inc. is therefore declared the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does accept the proposal of MacQueen Equip- ment Co. in the amount of $51,400.00 and, further, that funds for this purchase are authorized from Account No. 602-531-921. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in avorei—i —reof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Moen Schneider and Threinen The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. •+" www •w•
