Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meetino_ of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth. Minnesota was held on the
22nd day of Februar 19 82. The following members were
present:Ma or Davenport, ounce mem ers 1ioyt-774oen, Schneider and Threinen
The following members were a sent: none
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its a option:
RESOLUTION NO. 82-91
DENYING PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF
31ST AVENUE IN MAPLEDELL 1ST ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 the City Council held a public hearing on
January 18, 1982 to consider the request to vacate a portion of 31st Avenue in
Mapledell 1st Addition; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said petition and has determined that
the street right-of-way is necessary as part of the City's Trail Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does deny the request for the vacation of a
portion of 31st Avenue in Mapledell 1st Addition.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ho t , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted n favor ereo : Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt,
Moen Schneider and Threinen
The following voted against orabstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pas—sed adopted".
