HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-087CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 22nd day of February . 1982. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, ouncilmeamers Men, Schneider and lbreinen Ine following mowers were absent: Councilmember Hoyt Cnunrilmember Threinen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-87 APPROVING LOT DIVISION OF PLATTED LAND DESCRIBED AS LOT 1, BLOCK 10, "ELMHURST ADDITION" FOR MR. AND MRS. DAVID CRANE (81071) WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. David Crane have requested approval of a Lot Division by metes and bounds description of platted land known as Lot 1, Block 10, "Elmhurst Addition" at the southwest corner of 23rd Avenue North and Jonquil Lane for purposes of creating a single-family dwelling parcel; and, WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the request and the land in accordance with City Code requirements for the Division of Platted Property, and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the following division of platted land: Lot 1, Block 10, Elmhurst P.I.N. 26 118 11 21 0099 To be divided Into two new parcels as follows: Parcel A That part of Lot 1, Block 10, ELMHURST, according to the re- corded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying north of a line drawn from a point on the west line of said Lot 1 distant 80.00 feet north of the southwest corner of said Lot 10 to a point on the east line of said Lot 1 distant 111.66 feet north of the southeast corner of said Lot 1 as measured along the easterly line of said Lot 1. Subject to an easement for street, utility and drainage pur- poses over and across that part of Lot 1, Block 10, ELMHURST according to the recorded plat thereof, which lies northeast- erly and northerly of the following described line: Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Lot 1, thence East, assumed bearing, along the South line of said Lot 1 a distance of 210.00 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence Northwesterly a distance of 98.82 feet along a non-tangential curve concave to the southwest having a radius of 500 feet and a central angle of 11 degrees 19 minutes 29 seconds, the chord of said curve bears North 22 degrees 01 minutes 08 seconds West; thence North 27 degrees 41 minutes 07 seconds West; a distance of 147.20 feet; thence northwesterly a distance of 21.74 feet along a tangential curve concave to the southwest having a radius of 20.63 feet and a central angle of 60 degrees 21 minutes and 34 seconds; thence North 88 degrees 02 minutes 41 seconds west to the northerly line of said lot 1 and said line there terminating. Page 2 Resolution No. 82-87 I* Parcel B That part of Lot 1, Block 10, ELMHURST, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying south of a line drawn from a point on the west line of said Int 1 distant 80.00 feet north of the southwest corner of said Lot 10 to a point on the east line of said Lot 1 distant 111.66 feet north of the southeast corner of said Lot 1 as measured along the easterly line of said Lot 1. FURTHER, that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special assessment corrections based on City Policy when the division is approved by Hennepin County. The motion for adaption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seaxided by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the folladim voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Schneider the 9 Oxweupon the st or anstau:ea: none was declared duly passed and adopted.
