HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-062Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 1st day of February '19 82 . The following members were presentlayor Davenport, Councilmes�foyt,�foen, Schneider and Threinen The following members were absent: none Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-62 RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 81-845 BY REVISING STREET NAMES PROPOSED FOR NORTHWEST BUSINESS CAMPUS, PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY (80062) WHEREAS, the City Council has previousy adopted Resolution No. 81-845, approving final plat for the Nortjhwest Business Campus proposed by Prudential Insurance Company; and WHEREAS, the petitioner has subsequently requested that the City Council consider the adoption of certain street names which are not in accordance with the originally approved final plat; and WHEREAS, while the proposed street name changes are not consistent with the City's street grid system, they do involve street segments which are exclusively internal to the proposed plat and will not affect whatsoever the remainder of the City's street naming plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, that it should and hereby does: 1. Redesignate existing and proposed 26th Avenue North northwesterly from Teakwood Lane to its intersection with Northwest Boulevard as Campus Drive. 2. Redesignate proposed Zinnia Circle from its intersection with Northwest Boulevard west and northerly to its intersection with Xenium Lane as Campus Drive. 3. Direct that the final plat as approved by Resolution No. 81-845 be amended to reflect the above street name changes. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport Councilmembers Hoyt Moen. Schneider and Threinen The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. t+*
