HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-060CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1st day of February , 19 82. The following mef.ibers were presentMa or Daven ort Councilmembers Hot Moen Schneider and Threinen The following members were absent: none Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-60 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND WEST RIDGE ESTATES THIRD ADDITION (A-745) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated June 10, 1980, Laukka and Associates, Inc., developer of West Ridge Estates Third Addition (A-745), has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: ITEM ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Street Construction $ 50,125 $ 9,661 Sanitary Sewer 58,373 -0- Watermain 67,207 -0- Storm Sewer 5,657 -0- Boulevard and Drainage Swale Sod 12,000 81000 Pond or Ditch Construction -0- -0- Street Signs 150 150 Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning 1,500 1,500 Erosion Control 2,000 2,000 Private Streets, Driveways & Parking Areas 22,500 14,000 Site Grading & Drainage Imp. 30,000 3,000 Design, Admn., Insp., As-Builts 29,941 4,597 $279,453 $42,908 That the Letter of Credit required be reduced from $71,558 to $42,908 to reflect the completed work. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer serving Phase II (Lots 21 through 36, Block 1, and Lots 9 through 24, Block 2) West Ridge Resolution No.82-60 Page 2 Estates Third Addition and the street construction and concrete curb and gutter adjacent to Phase I (Lots 1 through 20, Block 1, and Lots 1 through 8, Block 2) West Ridge Estates Third Addition are accepted, as of February 1, 1982 for continual maintenance subject to the one year guarantee by the developer. The motion, for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Moen, Schneider and Threinen The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
