Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council
of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t e 25th day of January ,
19 82. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councimem ers
Royt, Moen, Schneider and Threinen
The following members were absent: none

Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82 - 52
APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE NORTHWEST METROPOLITAN
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
WHEREAS, the Northwest Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce serves the cities of
Crystal, Golden Valley, New Hope and Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, the Chamber provides numerous services to the member communities,
particularly through assisting new and existing businesses to locate and/or
expand within the area; and
WHEREAS, the Council deems the purposes and activities of the Chamber of
Commerce to be worthy of community support;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Plymouth, Minnesota, that the City of Plymouth apply for membership in the
Northwest Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce as recommended by the City Manager
in his memo of January 22, 1982
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the o owing
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Moen, Schneider
and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: none
