Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetino of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was heTd on the
18th day of January , 19 82. The following members were
present Ma or Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, MoenSchneider and Threinen
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82-46
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SEVEN 1982 MODEL POLICE PATROL VEHICLES
WHEREAS, the 1981 Central Equipment Budget contemplates the purchase of seven
police patrol vehicles; and
WHEREAS, on September 29, 1981, pursuant to State Statute, the Hennepin County
Cooperative Purchasing Group received and publicly read aloud sealed bids for
the purchase of intermediate and full size police patrol vehicles under Hennepin
County Contract No. 1436; and
WHEPEAS, the Hennepin County Board, upon recommendation of the County Purchasing
Manager, has awarded this bid to the lowest responsible bidder, Midway Ford;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does authorize the purchase of seven police
full size patrol vehicles from Midway Ford under the conditions and specifica-
tions of Hennepin County Contract No. 1436.
FURTHER, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order
in an amount not to exceed $65,449.25 from Account No. 602 -531 -Retained Earnings
for cue purchase of these vehicles.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
