HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-038CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetino of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was he—7d on the 18th day of January 19 82 . The following members were present: Maror Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, iNoen, Schneider and Threinen The following members were absent: none Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-38 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS GLACIER LANE FROM 27TH AVENUE TO 28TH PLACE - PROJECT NO. 204 WHEREAS, Resolution NO. 81-870 of the City Council, adopted the 21st day of December 1981, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to the improvement of Glacier Lane from 27th Avenue to 28th Place; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes installation of bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 18th day of January 1982, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution adopted December 21, 1981. 2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates is hereby designated as engineer for the improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. 3. That the City cost of the improvement be paid from the M.S.A. Fund. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by WijnriJmqm4Pr 1h el and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted to favrar ereo : Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt. Mpp,__SthneidPr and Thrain n The foTlowing voted against or abstained: one Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
