Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of
January , 19 82 . The following members were present: Mayor
Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Moen, Schneider and Threinen
The following members were 'absent: none _
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
M adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82- 36
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
XENIUM LANE IN NORTHWEST BUSINESS CAMPUS ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vaca.a a portion of Xenium Lane in Northwest
Business Campus Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on January 18,
1982 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851, as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was publshed and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of January 18, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on January 18, 1982 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of a portion of Xenium Lane
in Northwest Business Campus Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that a certain portion of Xenium
Lane is not needed for a public street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT. HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA as follows:
1. That the following portion of Xenium Lane be vacated as public
roadway:
The West 16.50 feet of the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter
The East 16.50 feet of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter
The East 16.50 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest quarter
lying northerly of the northerly right-of-way line of State Trunk
Highway No. 55
The West 40.00 feet of the South half of the Southeast quarter lying
northerly of the northerly right-of-way line of State Trunk Highway
No. 55
All in Section 22, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota.

2. That said vacation shall not affect the authority of any person,
corporation, or municipality owning or controlling elctric or
telephone poles and lines, gas and sewer lines, or water pipes,
mains and hydrants thereon or thereunder, to continue maintaining
the same or to enter upon such way or portion thereof vacated to
repair, replace, remove or otherwise attend thereto.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Hovt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof:_ Mayor pavenport, Councilmembers Hoyt
Moen, Schneider and Threinen _
The following voted against or abstain'!: none _
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,.
