HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-030CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a --regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t e 4th day of January , 1982 The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers 10 -o—y—t, Moen, Schneider, and Threinen The following mem ers were absent: None Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-30 RESOLUTION APPOINTING DIRECTORS TO THE NORTHWEST SUBURBS CABLE COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is a member of the Northwest Suburbs Cable Communication Commission; and WHEREAS, by virtue of such membership the City of Plymouth is authorized two Directors on the Commission Board of Directors; and WHEREAS, state statute provides that the Directors from each community shall be eligible voters in the community represented or an elected official; and WHEREAS, the Bylaws of the Commission call for member selection of Directors for a term beginning June 1, 1982; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that one of the Directors selected to the Commission shall represent the City Council and the other shall be a resident of the City; AND, FURTHER, that Virgil Schneider is named Cuuncil representative to the Commission and James G. Willis is named to serve as resident representative for a term beginning on June 1, 1982 and ending June 1, 1983. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconced by Couqcilpi berMoen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the f—o lowing voted in favor thereof:_ Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Moen, Schneider, and Threinen e following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and s opte .
