HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-015CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on a 4th day of January , 19 82 . The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers -oyt, Moen, Schneider and Threinen The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82- 15 AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE SEVEN GANG MOWER WHEREAS, $24,000 has been budgeted for the purchase of one seven gang reel mower in the 1982 budget, and WHEREAS, such equipment is required to adequately maintain the 250 acres of parkland which the City is responsible for maintaining, and WHEREAS, in accordance with State Statute bid specifications were prepared and distributed and bid proposals received and opened on December 21, 1981, and WHEREAS, the following bid was received: BIDDER AMOUNT DELIVERY DATE R. L. Gould & Co. $19,452.00 30 Days WHEREAS, the bid of R. L. Gould & Co. is in conformance with City specifications for this equipment and R. L. Gould & Co. is therefore declared the lowest responsible bidder, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, that is should and hereby does accept the proposal of R. L. Gould & Co. in the amount of $19,452.00 and further that funds for this purchase are authorized from account No. 602-531-921. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconced by Counr_ilmember Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the fo lowing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Moen, Schneider and Threinen The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and s opted.
