HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1982-013Pursuent to due call the C ty Council of 4th day of present: The foil CITY OF PLYMOUTH and notice thereof, a regular. meetino of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the January. , 19 82 The following members were port, Councilmembers Hoyt, Moen, Schnieder and Threinen rs were assent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82-13 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT NO. 901 - NORTH CENTRAL INTERCEPTOR SEWER WEST MEDICINE LAKE LATERAL SEWER COUNTY ROAD 9 WATERMAIN WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the City Council on December 7, 1981, the consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the North Central Interceptor Sewer com- mencing from point 16 to 17 (from generally a northwesterly direction from approxi- mately 1000 feet south of Coutny Road 9 to County Road 9 at a point approximately 2000 feet east of West Medicine Lake Boulevard and thence westerly along County Road 9 to West Medicine Lake Boulevard) as shown on the adopted Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, May 15, 1980, and also trunk watermain along County Road No. 9 from West Medicine Lake Road to I-494, and also lateral sewer line along West Medicine Lake Boulevard to serve the Heritage Estates Addition; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisment for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifi- cations. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 1982, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Ho t 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the following'voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Moen, Schneider and Threinen The following vote against or abstained: n n Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
