Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rectul a r meetino of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
4th day of January , 19 82. The following members were
present:Ma or Davenport, Councilmembers Hot Moen Schneider and Threinen
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82-07
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 8 AND FINAL
COMMUNITY PLAYFIELD IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE I, SHELTERS
PROJECT NO. 017
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and R. C. Dahlstrom as contractor have
entered into an agreement for the Community Playfield Improvements, Phase I,
Shelters, said agreement being dated July 9, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval
of the final request for payment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $310,000.00, seven change
10 orders in the amount of $6,674.54 were approved, and the value
of the work to date is $316,674.54.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for Project No. 017,
Phase I, Shelters, and certified to the Council by the engineer
as acceptable be and the same is hereby released from the contract
except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all
legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and corrections of
faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 8 and Final in the amount of $18,379.72
to R. C. Dahlstrom for Project 017, Phase I, Shelters, is hereby
approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and
directed to pay the same forthwith.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon the
following voted to avor ereo : Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Foyt,
Moen, Schneider and Threinen
The following vote aga nst or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
