Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81- 885
AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
AND LOCATION/DESIGN STUDY
COUNTY ROAD 15/I-494
WHEREAS, the City has received a proposal from Strgar-Roscoe, Inc.
dated December 3, 1981 providing for the preparation of an environmental
assessment and location/design study report for the proposed County
Road 15/I-494 interchange; and
WHEREAS, said study is determined to be required in order to continue
planning for the ultimate construction of said interchange; and
WHEREAS, the Carlson Companies have indicated their willingness to
reimburse the City for expenses incurred with respect to the undertaking
of these studies;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT KEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the proposal submitted by Strgar-Roscoe,
Inc. dated December 3, 1981, by the terms of which the firm is to provide
engineering services for the preparation of an environmental assessment
and a location/design study report for the proposed County Road 15/I-494
interchange be and the same is hereby approved at a cost not to exceed
$18,000.00; s
BE IT FURTHER RESOVLED, that a sun not to exceed $18,000.00 be and the
same is hereby appropriated from the City's Construction Fund subject
to reimbursement from the Carlson Companies for this study.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconced by
Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the o owing
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt Nei 1s, Schneider_
and Threinen
