HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-867Pursuant the Civ -1 21st ff� day of December Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-867 AWARDING BID FOR JANITORIAL SERVICE CITY CENTER BUILDING WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice and in conformance with State public bidding law, the city did accept bid proposals on December 16, 1981 for the furnishing of janitorial cleaning service for the year 1982 for the City Center Building; and WHEREAS, the proposals received were as follows: Care -Takers, Inc. $19,380.00 Commercial Building Maintenance 21,409.56 Team Carpet and Floor Care, Inc. 22,500.00 Professional Window and House Cleaning, Inc. 23,315.04 WHEREAS, THE City Engineer has analyzed the bid proposals and recommends the bid be awarded to Care -Takers, Inc., the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA thatit should and hereby does award the bid for janitorial services for the, City Center Building for 1982 to Care -Takers, Inc. in the bid amount of $191380.00. - FURTHER, that the Finance Director be directed to enter into a contract with Care- are takers, takers, Inc. for the provision of janitorial services. FURTHER, that the City Engineer be directed to return all bid securities to those -companies other than the lowest responsible bidder with the exception of the second lowest bidder.
