HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-804Councilmember Threinen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81- 804 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS TURTLE LAKE AREA IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT NO. 920/010/014 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 81-774 of the City Council, adopted the 2nd day of Novem- ber 1981, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to utility and street improvements in the Turtle Lake Area; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of sanitary sewer trunk facilities, trunk water service on County Road 9 and lateral sewer, water and street improvements along Juneau Lane and Kingsview Lane to serve the existing developed area; and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 7th day of December 1981, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution adopted November 2, 1981, including the following: a. The trunk sanitary sewer and watermain along 46th Avenue in the Amhurst Addition. b. Trunk watermain along County Road 9 from Glacier Lane to Vicksburg Lane. c. Lateral sanitary sewer and watermain along Kingsview Lane and Juneau Lane as outlined in the report. d. Thirty-two foot wide bituminous paving with concrete curb and gutter on Juneau Lane from County Road 9 to 46th Avenue and Kingsview Lane in the Gordon's Oakwood Hills Addition. 2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates is hereby designated as engineer for the improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
