Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. a regular meetino of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
16th day of November , 19 81. The following members were
nresent: Ma nr navennnrt_ Counr_ilmembers Neils. Schneider and Threinen
following
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its a option:
RESOLUTION NO. 81- 789
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - MEDICINE LAKE HIGHLANDS ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from M.L.H. Co. requesting installation of
ornamental residential street lighting in the Medicine Lake Highlands Addition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Medicine Lake Highlands
Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed
with the City Council on November 16, 1981, is hereby declared to be signed
by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This
declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 420.035.
2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they
have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to
report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to
whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other
improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
