RESOLUTION NO. 81-785
APPROVING RENEWAL OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AN 80 -FOOT HIGH TOWER WITH
MOUNTED WIND GENERATOR FOR JACOBS`WIND ELECTRIC COMPANY AT 2720 FERNBROOK
LANE (80042)
WHEREAS, M.L. Jacobs has requested approval of a conditional use permit
renewal for Jacobs Wind Electric Company located at 2720 Fernbrook Lane; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommended
approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY_ RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request
of M. L. Jacobs for a conditional use permit renewal for an 80 -foot high
tower with mounted wind generator for Jacobs Wind Electric Company located
at 2720 Fernbrook Lane subject to the following conditions:
1. The permit is subject to all applicable rules, regulations, and
Ordinances, and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation.
2. Effective measures shall be taken to prevent public interference.
3. Minimum setback distance from the property line shall be five feet.
4. There shall be no inconsistency with the site plan to the south_
of this site.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
