Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81- 776
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZNG THE SELECTION OF
MILLER, HANSON, WESTERBECK, BELL ARCHITECTS INC.
AS SITE CONSULTANT FOR PLYMOUTH SENIOR CITIZEN PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City has received authorization from the Department of Housing
and Urban Development to proceed with the acquisition of a possible building
site for the Plymouth Senior Citizen Housing Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it desirable to consider alternate site sizes
and configurations; and
WHEREAS, the preparation of such site alternatives requires the services of a
qualified consultant; and
WHEREAS, the costs for said consultant services are reimburseable through
Housing and Urban Development site acquisition funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does name Miller, Hanson, Westerbeck, Bell
Architects Inc. as site consultant for the Plymouth Senior Citizen Housing Project
and further directs the preparation of alternative site sketches together with
an analysis of each for presentation to the City Council and Housing and Redevelop-
ment Authority at a joint meeting scheduled for Novembler 23, M and further
allocates funds not to exceed $2,050.On for this purpose from account number
704-704.
