RESOLUTION NO. 81-774
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT 920 - TURTLE LAKE AREA UTILITIES AND STREETS
PROJECT 010 - COUNTY ROAD 9 WATERMAIN
PROJECT 014 - SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions of the Council, reports have been prepared by
Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. with respect to the improvement
of the Turtle Lake area with sanitary sewer facilities, watermain, street and
storm sewer facilities;'and
WHEREAS, said reports were received as follows:
Project 920 - Turtle Lake Area Trunk Sewer and Street Improvements;
received on January 8, 1979 by Resolution No. 79-13
Project 010 - County Road 9 Watermain Improvements; received on
December 17, 1979 by Resolution No. 79-816
Project 014 - Amhurst Addition Phase II Improvements; received on May
5, 1980 by Resolution No. 80-314; and
WHEREAS, Projects 920 and 010 were ordered for construction by the City Council
but contracts have not been awarded within one year of the date ordering the
improvement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such sanitary sewer, water -
main, storm sewer and street construction in accordance with the reports
and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost
of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111
(Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $1,065,503.00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 7th
day of December 1981 in the Council Chambers of the City Center building
at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed
and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
