HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-773ARA RAA. it meeting of the City on t e 2nd day of present: Mayor Davenport, it RRR Cailpcilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-773 CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 901 NORTH CENTRAL INTERCEPTOR SEWER AND COUNTY ROAD 9 WATERMAIN WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council, adopted June 5, 1978, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Andelik and Addociates, Inc. with respect to the improvement of the North Central Interceptor Sewer commencing from point '16 to 17 (from generally a northwesterly direction from approximately 1000 feet south of County Road 9 to County Road 9 at a point approximately 2000 feet east of West Medicine Lake Boulevard and thence westerly along County Road 9 to West Medicine Lake Boulevard) as shown,on the adopted Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, May 15, 1980; trunk watermain along County Road No. 9 from West Medicine Lake Road to I-494; and also lateral sewer line along West Medicine Lake Boulevard to serve the Heritage Estates Addition; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, street restoration and all necessary appurtenances as may be necessary; and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on November 6, 1978; and WHEREAS, the project was ordered for construction by the City Council but contracts have not been awarded within one year of the date ordering the improvement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such sanitary sewer and watermain in accordance with the reports and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $702,344.00.
