RESOLUTION NO. 81- 760
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
THE UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT ON THE COMMON LOT LINE OF
LOTS 8 AND 9, BLOCK 1, INDUSTRIAL PARK 494 ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate the utility and drainage easement on
the common lot line of Lots 8 and 9, Block 1, Industrial Park 494 Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on November 2,
1981 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851, as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of November 2, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on November 2, 1981 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of the utility and drainage
easement on the common lot line of Lots 8 and 9, Block 1, Industrial Park 494
Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that the easement is not needed
for drainage and utility purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA as follows:
1. That the following drainage and utility easement be vacated:
That part of the North 10 feet of Lot 8 and that part of the South
20 feet of Lot 9 all in Block 1, Industrial Park 494, Hennepin
County, Minnesota lying Easterly of a line described as commencing
at the Northwest corner of said Lot 8; thence North 800 55' East,
assumed bearing, along the North line of said Lot 8 a distance of
10.43 feet to the actual point of beginning of the line to be
described; thence North 160 42' 23" West 20.87 feet to the North
line of the South 20 feet of said Lot 9; thence South 160 42' 23"
East 31.30 feet to the South line of the North 10 feet of said Lot
8 and there terminating.
