RESOLUTION NO. 81- 758
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
A PORTION OF STREET EASEMENT WEST OF FERNBROOK LANE AND SOUTH OF 27TH AVENUE
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a portion of street easement west of.
Fernbrook Lane and south of27thAvenue; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on November 2,
1981 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851, as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of November 2, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on November 2, 1981 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of a portion of street ease-
ment west of Fernbrook Lane and south of 27th Avenue; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that the easement is not needed
for a public street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA as follows:
1. That the following street easement be vacated as public roadway:
That part of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 21, Township 118
North, Range 22 West, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as follows: Com-
mencing at a point on the West line of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4
of Section 21, Township 118 North, Range 22 West, distant 40 rods South of the
Northwest corner thereof; thence East paral7FI with the North line of said
Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 to the "d ` line thereof; thence South along
said East line 256.75 feet to the point o� c -ginning of the property to be
described; thence West parallel with said Ncrth line 296.5 feet; thence
deflecting right 100 a distance of 110 feet; thence deflecting left 900
a distance of 60 feet; thence defiecting left 900 a distance of 50 feet;
thence deflecting right 900 a distance of 60 feet, thence deflecting left
900 a distance of 60 feet; thence deflecting left 900 a distance of 60
feet; thence deflecting right 900 a distance of 5.25 feet; thence East parallel i
with said North line to the East line of said Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast
1/4; thence North along said East line to the point of beginning.
